CREATIVE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

If you’re inspired by fashion and streetwear brands like Ellesse, Abrand, SikSilk, Carrera, WNDRR or Lee, and are ready to step up to a CD role and develop a body of work you’re truly proud of, then we want to meet you.

If you’ve recently moved to Perth, Live Clothing is an iconic fashion brand that’s been around since the early 90s. We run our own brick & mortar stores, a fast-growing online store and social profiles, and we even design our own in house brands. We need someone who understands what makes our collection of brands cool and can express that to our fans, whether it’s in the form of an EDM, a photo or video piece, a TikTok post, an in-store display, or maybe even a billboard.

This is a senior role in our South Perth head office, so you’ll work with the head honcho every day and be trusted with a decent range of responsibilities to match an above-average salary.

A TYPICAL MONTH:

  • Design an email newsletter to promote a new collection. Create it in Adobe CS and Mailchimp, edit the HTML & CSS if necessary, and monitor the results.
  • Hire a model and organise a shoot for one of our in-house labels. Work with a professional photographer, or ideally, use your own photography and lighting skills and take the shots yourself.
  • Edit a video using material shot by you, a collaborator, or one of our stocked brands. Add graphics and links, optimise the file format and upload it to our homepage or social accounts.
  • Reach out to an influencer and pitch a sponsored collab. Write the creative brief, manage their gifted product or payment and analyse the results.
  • Plan a monthly calendar of posts for Instagram, Facebook & TikTok. Use FB Business Manager to run them as ads and respond to comments. With the help of our Marketing Manager, figure out which campaigns worked the best and why.
  • Add a new rule to your brand guidelines document, so your colleagues know how to adapt your work without ruining it.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You’re a professional designer who, ideally, has a tertiary degree and has worked full-time in the industry for several years.
  • You cringe at the suggestion to use Canva.
  • You know how to retouch photos and have the patience to cut a basic video using professional software.
  • You’ve boosted a post or run a basic ad campaign on FB, or you’re keen to learn how.
  • You have a creative vision, and you know how to balance it with the commercial reality of business.
  • You’d rather collaborate with your boss and colleagues than be shown what to do.
  • You want your work to be noticed, and you like being accountable for your actions.
  • Nothing bugs you like a poorly lit model, or a skirt that doesn’t hang right.

ASSISTANT BUYER

Live Clothing is Perth’s iconic youth orientated Streetwear retailer. Always on trend for our style conscious customer! Under new ownership, we’ve been busily shifting our brand back to our heritage and repositioning ourselves to better WOW our customers. Are you ready to WOW? Are you ready to influence culture? We’re seeking the very best Assistant Buyer to join us at our South Perth headquarters.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

This role will report directly to the Creative Director and to the Managing Director of our company, so be ready to be challenged! You’ll be responsible for curating the look for our girl/guy… inspiring her/him and leading her/him to depths she/he hasn’t been before. You’ll be responsible for identifying the look, negotiating with suitable suppliers to exceed our KPI targets, source the look, review performance, and outperform with your inventory overstocks and understocks. You’ll also be heavily involved in curating our inhouse fashion labels.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Assist in building and executing (in conjunction with the Creative Lead and Managing Director) the Strategic Plan (Product Strategy and Brand Direction) for your portfolio
  • Assist in sourcing and developing new and exciting brands (local and international), incubate ranges, create brand experiences and leverage great relationships with both our branded and vertical suppliers
  • Highly developed expertise in anticipating and interpreting fashion trends (articulating this on company trend boards), and applying this to the product range buy
  • Responsible for delivering the product range from its development (think Product Showings, Samples, Fit-in’s, etc.) through to store execution (think store queries, VM, opportunities)
  • Maintain, nurture and grow strong supplier relationships (current and new)
  • Assist in Demand Planning: Developing (in conjunction with the Creative Lead), Managing and adhering to your OTB Plan
  • Drive to exceed sales, margin, inventory level budgets/targets/KPIs, and other KPIs
  • Proactively monitor and react to sales performance by identifying over and under stocks, and execute suitable action plans
  • Prepare regular SWOT analysis across all categories, and execute suitable action plans
  • Guarantee Product Management data entry accuracy and resolve queries
  • Ensure all Critical Pathways are met on time, every time
  • Work seamlessly with other functions within the business across Marketing, Planning and Store Operations to execute at the highest level

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

  • Minimum 1-year branded buying experience in a multi outlet retail environment across physical and digital. Wholesale experience considered.
  • You’ve got a keen eye for fashion and fashion trends. Fashion Forward Focus.
  • Great influencer, strong negotiator and outstanding communicator in both verbal and written communication - can get the best out of people and suppliers
  • Extremely high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving skills (thinks outside the box)
  • Strong commercial acumen and business judgement. Challenge the status quo with innovative thinking supported and backed by data
  • Strong Data Analysis Skills with high proficiency in Excel

WHAT WE’D ALSO LOVE YOU TO HAVE:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Fashion Design/Buying (or equivalent)
  • Exceptional knowledge of all fabrications, raw materials, product categories, garment construction, and quality assurance methods
  • Product Development experience in Fashion, Footwear, and/or Accessories
  • Experience in managing high profile brands

STORE MANAGER

Live Clothing (#liveclothing_) is Western Australia's iconic fashion retailer with five stores across Perth. (Carousel - Booragoon - CBD - Morley - Whitfords) and we’re looking to expand with new stores opening later this year.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate Full-Time (hours) STORE MANAGER and ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER with an upbeat, dynamic and stylish personality. Fashion and retail should be in your blood! You’re really someone that will WOW our customers! AND lead your Team from the front.

This position is responsible for delivering the Store’s Financial Targets and Company KPIs while focusing heavily on creating a warm and genuine customer experience. You will build your team to be empowered to exceed within the retail store.

Key Responsibilities:

As Store Manager, you will lead, drive, develop and inspire your team to achieve overall success. You will be the first point of contact and will be expected to manage your team across all aspects of store operations. You will:

  • Lead by example, setting a high tone for your staff
  • Achieve and exceed store Performance KPI's with a solid focus on Sales
  • Lead, manage and supervise team by providing coaching, mentoring and training to your Team

  • Visual Merchandising / Store Presentation – ensure that you store is well presented to drive Sales
  • Manage Stock and Loss Prevention strategies upheld
